August 20, 2008 - Country Inn & Suites, Saskatoon Friendliness & Professionalism

I wanted to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation for the quality of service and attention to detail our program has received from your Country Inn & Suites location in Saskatoon, SK.

Our program within the US Fish & Wildlife Service is tasked with monitoring migratory waterfowl populations and leg-banding waterfowl in close cooperation with Canadian Wildlife Service. Because Saskatoon is centrally located to many of our projects, I believe that we have had employees overnight at your hotel each of the eighteen years that it has been open. In recent years we have had over twenty employees lodge with you each August, some, including myself, for periods of 25 nights or more.

I want to particularly commend the attention enjoyed from two individuals on Ms. Dea Roland-Dengler’s staff. Both Jan and Jim continue to recognize and anticipate any unique needs of our employees and continually stay one step ahead of us. Their friendliness and professionalism always leaves a good impression and has us looking forward to our next stay.

Because of the service enjoyed at this Country Inn & Suites location, our employees seek out this hotel name whenever possible during each of their four-plus months of travel each year. Thanks again for the service and if able please recognize this location and its employees for their exemplary work.

- Kind Regards, J. S. Wortham, Chief, US Dept. of the Interior, Fish & Wildlife Service
August 17, 2008 - Country Inn and Suites - New Glasgow Stay

I just wanted to say that our team The Markham Jaguars, stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in New Glasgow, NS for the week of Aug 3-10. We just wanted to let you know how very nice you all were to the team and how we were treated so well while down there.

There was so much rain and because of this, we were cooped up in the hotel for the majority of time but never once did we feel out of place or that we didn't belong as you guys were there with your smiles, your coffee and your goodies all day long for us.  I have never been at a hotel where you have been made feel so much at home. I’m sure that not too many people take the time to tell you, so I am doing just that. Thank you so much for making our experience a memorable one. Enjoy the rest of your summer and remember 'Don't even say RAIN’. Take care.

July 27, 2008 - Chetwynd - Crew Booking

Lakeview Customer Service;

Last July 2007, Bruce Smith and his Veritas DGC Inc. crew booked rooms at the Lakeview Inn & Suites in Chetwynd, BC. The service was great, the people working at the hotel wonderful, and our month stay was perfect.

Again this year we’re staying at the Lakeview Inn & Suites, Chetwynd. The service and people working at the hotel have done all they could to comply with our needs, and all the other crews that were so demanding. They really deserve a pat on the back for their efforts.

Chetwynd housed a huge amount of crews this year, and as difficult as it was they did their best to accommodate everyone, and I’d like to thank them for their patience and kindness, as it wasn’t always reciprocated.

I’d like to send a special thank you to Daphne and Paula for putting up with everyone, their harsh demands and at times disrespectful treatment, and they did a wonderful job.

In the past I’d always look for a Super 8 to house the crews in, but I now look hoping to find a Lakeview Inn & Suites.

Sincerely, M. Milne CGG Veritas
July 25, 2008 - Halifax - you make people feel at home!

Hello Kimberly;

I just wanted to let you know how awesome the staff at the Lakeview Inn & Suites in Halifax was. My family recently stayed at your establishment for five nights.

The staff was always friendly. My sister who is in a wheelchair went down to enjoy your continental breakfast in the lobby, along with my 6 year old son. Your staff was very helpful making sure they had everything they needed as well as finding room at the table for her chair.

My son had a toy he wasn’t able to get working, your maintenance man Greg went above and beyond to help him. They became friends and when we were checking out Greg came to say goodbye and gave my son a parting gift.

I will definitely stay at your hotels again and recommend them to my family and friends, you make people feel at home!

Thank you, Dorothy Doucette & Family
July 15, 2008 - Country Inn & Suites Winnipeg

Last business trip my company put me into another Winnipeg hotel for a “Change”. I did not like it at all and asked this trip to be put back at the Country Inn & Suites on Route 90. I will be back at the Country Inn & Suites for all my business trips while in Winnipeg. Excellent service and a really nice atmosphere. Oh and the price was excellent also. My company paid much more at the other hotel but the service was not satisfactory at all – plus no atmosphere. Great job!!!! See you on my next trip!

July 10, 2008 - God Bless - Lakeview Inn & Suites-Whitecourt, AB

In mid July 2008 after losing my wallet in Fox Creek, the staff in your hotel went above anyone’s expectations to help my boys and me. They gave me money to buy gas to retrieve my wallet, while watching my children.

I plan to always stay at a Lakeview, whether I have my wallet or not. Thank you and God Bless!
June 29, 2008 - 4 Points Sheraton Winnipeg

This is a hotel that still maintains the old values of customer service while at the same time maintaining modern comfort and conveniences. It is a pleasure to stay where customer service is not compromised as a means to protect the corporate profit margin. Pleasant, congenial staff that always offer a friendly, caring attitude is the absolute bonus of staying at the Four Points Sheraton Hotels. The icing on the cake is the excellent food served in the dining room at the Winnipeg Airport hotel. And, oh, did I mention the “sleeping on a cloud” beds? In general, if I have to be away from home … I like to stay at a hotel that is a home away from home and then some!

June 26, 2008 - Bathurst - North Shore Regiment Reunion

Dear Mr. Traa;

My husband, a WWII veteran, and I have been guests at the Bathurst Lakeview Inn & Suites to attend the North Shore Regiment Reunion for the past five or six years.

In December 2007 we returned to your hotel when I was referred to a Bathurst eye specialist. Due to complication during the surgery, we had to travel a distance of 400 kilometers every two to three weeks until June 18 of this year.

I want to bring to your attention the quality of service we received from Mrs. Carmel Hickey and her staff during all of this time. Each and every time we were welcomed with compassion and concern. All efforts were offered to make a difficult situation bearable. You can be proud to have true professionals such as these representing your company.

Sincerely, F. Y. Hebert
March 13, 2008 - Lakeview Inn & Suites Fort Saskatchewan

In all of our professional and personal travels, I have never felt compelled nor considered attempting a letter such as this. Our stay(s) at Lakeview and the time spent in Local Heroes has honestly been the major highlight of working in Fort Saskatchewan. My wife and I travel excessively and have received diverse service from many hospitality institutions. We have NEVER received the reception, service, follow through and genuine courtesy that is always delivered within the hotel and restaurant. From the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and management, this entire team is incredibly outstanding and functions like a true family and welcomes you with open arms. It’s shocking how at home we felt, how the management has found, fostered and extended their personalities into the entire team.

February 29, 2008 - Fantastic Stay in Grand Forks

I had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Forks hotel two nights ago, Feb 27. I just wanted to let you know about the fantastic service that I received from the hotel manager Chris Miller. He went out of his way to make our stay a great experience despite some extraordinary circumstances .

We had actually booked a room in a hotel close by, but were very disappointing with their facilities. Chris booked us into a great room at a good price. We had a great evening in the pool and with the free movies.

Things were clean and pleasant.

January 2, 2008 - Best Social Function in Fort Saskatchewan

I would like to thank everyone at the hotel in Fort Saskatchewan for their participation in our 2007 Christmas party, which was a total success.

The banquet room was set up in a warm and festive fashion with plenty of room for food service and socializing. The food was phenomenal in taste and presentation. Combine fantastic food and quality service this event to us was of 5 star quality.

This has been by far the best social function that I have had the pleasure of coordinating. We would like to thank everyone for all of their efforts in making this past Christmas party our best.

November 16, 2007 - Amazing Stay at Lakeview Signature Inn Calgary Airport

I have to say that you were right about the Signature Inn in Calgary. I stayed here last night and it is amazing! I’m just about to go test out the exercise room and then have a delicious breakfast that the road crew has been raving about.

November 14, 2007 - Stay in Summerside

I booked into the Lakeview Loyalist Resort on November 1, 2007. I was to stay one night an dmove to O'Leary PEI the next day. I was treated so well by the extremely friendly staff and was so impressed with the overall cleanliness and cosiness of this establishment, I decided to stay a second night.

I commend you on such terrific people who are the gears that make this hotel and suite so wonderful. When in Summerside, this will be the only place for me to stay. There are many establishments that could learn from your wonderful customer service.

October 31, 2007 - Customer Service Commendation

In the oil & gas industry, our company frequents all types of hotels, motels and camps. We were fortunate to stay at your Fort Saskatchewan location for a 2 month period. In that period, we had unbelievable customer service, hence the reason for this letter. The rooms were reasonably priced, comfortable and always very clean. The restaurant and pub provided excellent meals and atmosphere. What impressed me the most however, was the superb customer service. From day one, we were amazed at how professional, corteous and accommodating the staff was, from the cleaners all the way to the management. I would like to commend the management team on an excellent job at the Fort Sasktachewan location.

June 19, 2007 - Halifax (Bayers Lake)- Lakeview Inns & Suites

Your hotel was chosen to host our first breakfast meeting. We also had guests stay at your hotel.

I would like to give you some feedback from our members. The food, atmosphere and service were professional, clean and polite. we were very impressed with the presentation.

This is important to us as we will be choosing a host hotel for many events that we will choose over the years. My guests were well served.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. We appreciate the professionalism from your staff. We look forward to hosting your hotel for future events.

May 21, 2007 - Great Stay

Hi,

I am one that complains about hotels, we are quite fussy.

I am pleased to say the staff and hotel stay were great.

Heat and AC, that is quiet and on a thermostat.
Clean and neat.
Great lady on the breakfast, good staff over all.
Breakfast was very good.

We normally stay at another hotel that is a bit more convenient, but your operation is newer and better run.

February 5, 2007 - Halifax (Bayers Lake)- Lakeview Inn & Suites
