Meet Chef Shane Scaife.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Chef Shane fell in love with food while attending college in Mississippi and touring New Orleans. When he came back, he completed his Red Seal at Winnipeg’s own Red River College and went on to find work as a chef in southern Manitoba, Louisiana, the Caribbean, and New Zealand. A 15-year member of the Canadian culinary Federation, Chef Shane is now with us at Seagulls Hecla putting a well-versed twist on classic local dishes.
